I just received a call from 73638699, one extra digit I knew that is a scam call so I didn't answer. I'm in California.

I had a missed call from this number at 11:24 am Pacific time (GMT/UTC -.

My phone is new, and only one person has the number. I know the missed call wasn't from my friend.

73638699 ConsumersBank face page says :
FRAUD ALERT: The phone number "736386-99" (not a typo leaving off the last 2 digits) has been calling people telling them their credit/debit card has been deactivated via a automated message. This is NOT the bank.

Got it too in CA on cell phone. The VM was cut off and only a couple words at the end about unlocking. The VM showed from the AT&T VM number since the original number was bogus.

I answered but hung up after I heard the robo call. I dialed the number and it says welcome to Verizon Wireless. I used to work for US bank and called their fraud department right away.

From US Bank. I don't have the account.

I just got a call from this number and saw the weird number of digits. I answered and it said (in a robo voice) that my US Bank debit card had been locked and press 1 to unlock and 2 to hang up. I pressed 1, because I wanted to see if someone would come on the line so that I could tell them to "F- off" but no one did. I hung up and added the number to my blocked calls list. What was the point of the call anyway?

I just got this call too. I answered but didn't say anything and it said your credit card has been locked I believe. It was a robot but when I didn't press 1 it hung up on me. I am also in North Florida.

Got a call from them just now. Phone number looked odd - only eight digits, and no one I know overseas has my number - so I didn't answer. Glad I checked up on it instead of answering.

I'm in MN. It was robocall saying "your mastercard has been lost. Press 1 to reactivate, press 2 to leave" . I pressed 2 and the call hungup. It didn't say a bank, just mastercard. Don't give any info!

Calls are either spoofed or originating from france pakistan or australia.

This a robo dialer using random bank name including WellsFargo, Peoples, and State. This is linked to a phone number breach a couple months ago.

Got a call from this number saying my Peoples bank credit card had been locked to stay on the line to speak to a rep to have it unlocked. Don't have any kind of card from said bank. Hung up.

I got this from my new tmobile number via Roam Mobility. I am from Canada and I only use this number when I am in the states.

I also got this call, and am also in WA. The fact we're all from WA makes me think the issue is BECU. Additionally, the only mastercard I have is with BECU, and BECU is one of the few companies that has my new phone number that I received the call on.

I would recommend calling BECU and making sure your accounts are safe. I've sent them a message.

I'm in Washington state. I just recieved a call on my cell phone from 73638699 too. I answered and it was recording message said that my Master Card has been locked and asked me to press 1. I instantly hang up because Chase has been hacked this morning!!
