I received a call on my cell phone on 07/09/2014 from number 73638699 at 1:33pm PST. They did not leave a voice mail, therefore I do not return the call. Good thing since this is a scam. I searched the number and it lead me to this forum.

Got this call at 10:30 AM PST. I pressed 1 but the call didn't go through so I hung up. I was eating so I didn't realize this was a scam after looking back at the number.

Received @ 14:16 in Chicago - didn't answer mainly because the number didn't have enough digits...

Yes, my husband got this call the day before me, he picked up I didn't. One of his cards was hit twice, 1st for $2,0002nd for $689.63 in China. We live in California. Don't answer your phone to anyone you don't know! Thank goodness for fraud alert! We didn't get stuck!!!

got called today, automated message stating my bank of america debit card has been locked... i don't even own a BoA debit account, so i hung up immediately.

Got this call at 0836 hours in Irving, Tx

Got this Number on my Phone today ..no messages in my voice mail box...Checked Internet and it's a Scam alright .. I'm sure the NSA is right on top of this one... ( Joke )

Exactly the same. I am in LA. Don't do anything if you receive this call.

Got a call from this number and never answered it. Glad I didn't after reading these messages. My husband got a call a few months ago stating his BofA card had been compromised and he hung up because we don't own one.

I just got this call and answered. It said my BofA card was locked and to press 1 to be connected to their security department. I hung up instead. I don't have a BofA account. So I assume I'm in the clear because I didn't give it any information.

Just got a call that my BofA debit card was frozen. Do not own a debit card form BofA. SCAM!!! Wanted me to put all info in. SCAM!!!!

Just got a call from this number at 6:53 AM saying that my BofA debit card had been frozen. It asked me to enter my 16-digit debit card number. I entered zeros all three times (I kept messing up, apparently) and then finally hung up on me. They tried this with me on Friday (three days ago) with my non-existent US Bank debit card.

Do not answer any calls from his number!!

I also got this call to my cell phone this morning, indicating that my US Bank debit card had been lost or stolen and that I should press 1 and enter my 16 digit card number...well, I was half asleep,
I pressed 1 and then hung up!! I don't have a US Bank debit card!! My husband said he got a call to his cell phone similar to this on Friday, he was awake and simply hung up, his bank and not US BANK, doesn't have his cell phone number.

Just got voice mail from Los Angeles, CA area, saying my B of A debit card is locked... luckily I called B of A representative directly instead of responding to options provided on voice mail. It is a scam, B of A confirmed my debit card status is still open.

L.A. area. Just got the call saying my Debit MasterCard had been deactivated. To reactivate press 1 to speak to our security department. I've been in the process of receiving a new debit card so I pressed 1 but got another computer voice. I then hung up in case it was a scam. Esp. since I don't believe the new card is supposed to be MasterCard based. Then I tried to dial the number back and it wouldn't work. Thankfully I found this forum. I appreciate all that wrote in, thx!

save your banks' 800# on your cellphone so when you do get calls from your banks you will know that it is legit.

Just called my cell at 5:45 Sunday morning. Voicemail was activated but no message left. They are hitting California this week.

Got a call few minutes ago. Let it go to VM and of course none was left. I usually don't answer unknown numbers especially ones like this. L.A., California area. Obvious scam. I see lots of socal calls

I am in Alabama. Someone called me yesterday which was on September 5, 2014, but I did not take it because it was very strange #s. Thus, I typed it at Google and knew that it is a scam.

just got a call from this # that my Bank of America debit card was locked. I don't have such a card. total scam!!!

got a call from the same nr, approx 9:30 CA/LA time. Said my debit card was locked and to press one. Did not press and it hung up.

I literally just registered online with Worlds Market store and they use your number as the account ID. then got the Call almost immediately.

Just got a call a minute ago on my cell phone. Recorded message said they were calling from US Bank to report my debit card had been stolen and that I should press one. When I didn't press a number, the call hung up. I don't have a debit card with US Bank!

I got the scam call today saying US bank debit was locked. I pressed 1 and # hoping to get someone but it just asked for the debit card number. I entered a bogus one and it had the nerve to tell me it wasz invalid. lol!

got a robot call about 210pm in San Diego, CA stating my USBank card locked, press 1.
I hung up

got call today at 12:30 pm in Calif. ignored. no voicemail left.

Just got the call. Didn't answer, and no vm left. Live In CA.

Robot voice indicated it was Wells Fargo calling and said that the debit card was deactivated. Press 1 to reactivate.

Got a call from this number 11am. Didn't answer, but immediately received a text from the same number that reads "I'm in class."

Got the call from (736) 386-99 just now on my cell phone, realizing that is was most likely bogus/scam due to the missing digits, I answered anyway to give them a piece of my mind... message stated that my US Bank card was locked (although I do not have such a card) and prompted me to dial 1, which went to dead air...

I just received a call from 736-386-99. Like the others, stating my debit card was unlocked. However, I was told my US Bank debit card was locked. Looks like they are saying random banks judging by this site.

After I hung up and confirmed with my actual bank that my accounts weren't locked and fraudulent activity did not take place, I warned my family.

Advise your family and friends to be skeptical when it comes to calls/emails/texts, and do not succumb to 'their' intended fear. It makes me sick that people sit behind a computer and steal from others. Being skeptical and aware is your only defense, because NOTHING is being done about the hacking and scams taking place EVERYDAY.

Scam. Hang up and block. Probably from Russia. remonds me, I should reset all my passwords after that last data breech from Russia,
