She said she was from BT and asked for my email address. She appeared to have verbal diarrhea so, thinking it might be a wrong number I interrupted her saying "Hold on a minute - who do you think I am?".
She said she didn't know who I was so I called her an idiot and hung up.
Incidentally, the number came up on my caller display as 0001752588117. I've never seen a number that long before.
