I've had the same number contact me regading corrupt computer rubbish. They said they were calling from Talk Talk on this occasion. Asked them for my Talk Talk account number -they hung up.

This is a scam microsoft will not call you warning about virus's, If anyone calls you claiming they can show you infections then they are talking crap.

He asked me to go to event viewer, The event viewer gives detailed information about any significant events in your computer. What your are shown is designed to confuse you but is unlikely to be virus related in this case.

I work IT so figured i would go along with it for the ride and confronted him at the end, he admitted it was a scam trying to find my Bank details and then hung up on me.
