With O2. How the heck do they allow me to be charged for answering a call

Had call from it tonight , so glad I came here , saved me £2

had this number calling me on both my phones! I don't pick up random numbers, guess will ignore this number now!

Scam, £2.00 charge when you pick up the call. Block it!

this number recently rung me, it charged me £2to answer the call. The whole thing is a scam, do not answer it! just block the number!

Got a call from this no. and answered it because I do business internationally and thought it was a genuine call. No voice at the other end so checked on here and found it was a scam and I have no doubt been charged for answering. What I don't see is what they get from it because presumably they have to pay international charges to make the call? Glad I checked on here before I called back to see who it was!

I'm on o2 they tried a few times with me too, not answering it, Might have to report this number as it's clearly scam, Don't know any losers from burma block it

This number just tried to call me, I didn't recognize the number so ignored it, I only answer numbers I recognize these days, these guys really need to get a proper life, losers

just got a acall from this number im on virgin i ignored it its a scam! SOMEONE TRYING TO CALL ME FROM ABROAD FOR MONTHS NOW ON DOFFERTN NUMBERS I KEEP BLOCKING

On 02 received 2x calls at 10:21 and 10:20, did not pick up either time.

in the space of an hour i've had 36 calls from the same unknown number, plus 7 voice mails, which when answered is silent or has a ppi message,
Once the number came through as +95748396
its like every 5 seconds they call, i had to put my phone into airplane mode, i left it for half an hour and turn it back on and guess what i get another call from them,

ooops. has just happened to me O2... number just disconnected.. Reading above it looks like its just cost me £2.00. Blocked it now

On EE and missed a call from this number, thank goodness. Taken to only answering numbers I recognise.

it's one of those incredibly annoying "urgent" automated messages. Always the same message, just keep changing the number. Total scam.

i am an o2 customer. just received call! unfortunately called back and nothing happened

I have just received phone call from this number. I use Vodafone and it seems only Dave Gittins mentioned his network provider which is also Vodafone. Is there anyone who use different network provider? Many thanks.
