The caller said he was calling to help me reduce the APR on my credit card. He asked if I had my credit card with me. I said, "yes". He asked me to verify my identity by telling him the expiration date as it's written on the credit card. I told him that I wasn't sure which credit card he was talking about. He said the Visa card. I said that I still wasn't sure which card he was talking about. He abruptly hung up on me.
I was wondering if this is a scam.
