This debt collector is scraping the bottom of the barrel. They pick up a debt and then start calling the last number associated with it. We have the unfortunate luck to have recently moved and our current number belonged to a deadbeat and his girlfriend. We have our name unlisted so the number comes up with the last prople who had it before us. If you call and explain the situation, they will stop calling you, that's the law. They were actually quite nice, it's just that their methods are not very good--and they are very persistent if you don't call and tell them to stop. .
