DO NOT ANSWER IF THEY CALL YOU. Indian accents. Claimed to be "Talk talk" (our internet provider). To cut a long story short, said our wi-fi had been hacked and our online activity was compromised. 3 individuals, 1 female and "Technical Dept Supervisors" Alex and JB. All very convincing and persuasive at the time. Swept me along on the panic of our wi-fi being insecure so that I somehow omitted to verify their authenticity. Convinced me that my PC had been hacked into via some of my most visited websites. Gained access to PC via a remote desktop, gained access to our bank (Santander) and removed £3500. Santander are doubtful they will be able to recover this money... This happened two days ago. Big wake up call. Even now can't believe how they duped me. Don't let it happen to you
