I received a call from this number 11:30AM est. 1/7/13 saying I was eligible for a lower interest rate and to press 1 if interested. I did. A live person came on and said she was calling from \"Credit Card Services\" on behalf of Capital One, Bank of America, and Chase. And that because I pay my credit card on time, I was eligible for a lower interest rate. She then asked for my balance, my credit card number, the expiration date, and the three digit code on the back. Of course I gave none of that information and immediately called my card company. They confirmed that they had not authorized ANYONE to call me on their behalf. I\'m reporting this number as fraudulent everywhere I can!!!

BEWARE! EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SCREAMED \'SCAM\'! I was contacted by a robocall from this number. It merely said that it was \'credit card services\' and that I was eligible for a lower rate if I pressed 1. I tried it, and it transferred me to a man with a heavy accent claiming he was calling about my Chase card, but could not tell me which one (I have a Chase Visa, btw). He said my balance was well over $3000. I said no...it was more like fifty dollars. He then hung up. When I tried to call back, I got a robot voice saying it was an automated \'opt out\' number mandated by Federal Law. I followed the prompts and it said that my number was removed from the list. I would wager, however, that if I had expressed an interest in whatever vague services were being alluded to by the \'operator\', then I would have been asked for a lot of personal information (e.g. social security number, credit card number to \'transfer\' the balance, etc). I would advise anyone against dealing with a call from this number.

A hang up call..

\'lower my credit card rate.\' they hang up on me when i ask to be removed from their list.
