Call us the Oct. 30 and it was a recording saying they were from the IRS and we were being sued. Said to call them back at this number. This is a scam. We are not being sued and the IRS does not contact people by phone.

I have been called several times with a recording that says they are from the IRS and they are suing me. I haven't noticed if it is always from this number. I believe this is a fake call. I have had contact from the IRS before and it was always with a letter, not a phone call. I believe this is bogus. I have been sued before and it was initiated with the papers being served to me personally, not with a phone call.
