Wanted me to call give me 7000.00 I know this is a scam

I got a call from a Brett Walker saying that I had a grant from the government and that I was to call this number 206-855-6536 to confirm with his supervisor that I won $7000. He knew my name and only wanted to know if I was married and how old I was. The number that he called from was 469-286-9841. I assumed that this was scam and wanted to report it.

I received a phone call and the person on the phone said that if I purchased a GreenDot master card and put $200 on it i was to call the number back with the card information and they would put a $7,000 money grant from the government on the card. I want to know if this is some type of scam or if it is legit. They did not ask for any type of personal information, all they asked for was my age.
