Getting numerous calls from a company is nothing new to me. I get 5-6 marketing and survey calls on a daily basis and chooses to ignore most of them. But after receiving a few calls from this number I gave in. I participated in the lifestyle survey. When the calls continued even after this I decided to take a more serious action. I found the grievance cell number of Simply Outbound, the company conducting the survey, and asked them to stop calling me. They assured me that I will receive no further calls from their end. After that I did not get any calls from this number.

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number.
Searching for the owner of this number on the web, I found out that this number belongs to a legitimate lead generation and lifestyle survey company named Simply Outbound. They even gave their grievance cell number online so that anyone who does not wish to be contacted by them can lodge a complaint there.
After gathering this information, the company seemed trustworthy to me. And so, I took the survey the next time they gave me a call. It was a collection of household questions such as the maker of my washing machine, whether or not I own a dog etc. The questions were basically harmless. And the next time I got a call from this number I gave a call to their grievance cell stating that I already took part in the survey and that I no longer wish to be contacted. They assured that I will no longer be getting calls from them and they happened to keep their promise.

Irritated – that’s what I was when I started getting calls from this number. But soon enough they made me angry. No matter how many times you get a call from them, they seem to keep calling back. It was getting on my nerves. I was determined to put an end to it for good. It was then I found a grievance cell number on the web where I can lodge a complaint against this non-stop calling. I called them up and asked them to stop calling me. They apologized for my inconvenience and assured us that I will not receive a call from that number again. Two weeks have passed since then and now I can conveniently say that they kept their promise – no unwanted calls!

I see 2 posts here almost praising the company that is making these cold calls just because they stopped calling after you phoned them to ask them to stop. They should not be making these calls in the first place. It's pretty sad that some people think this is acceptable.

I had issues with repeated calls from this number. I even considered complaining against the number. But in this process I discovered the grievance cell number of Simply Outbound, the caller company. I called them and explained my issue. They promised to stop calling me. It’s been 3 days and still no calls. Good work Simply Outbound.

The email address supplied is invalid so no point in trying go contact them. When they called me they were rude and hung up.

First of all, I must admit that these calls were getting on my nerves. Taking part in the survey did not end the endless call streams. When I saw that a company took the onus and provided a grievance cell number with a promise not to call again, I thought, what are the odds? Let me give it a try. I called the number and told them the problems I was having. They took my details and promised me that I won’t be getting any calls from them. And it worked. I have not received a single call from this number or any number for the matter asking for a household survey. Thank you Simply Outbound!

Had a missed call very day for a week, tried to call back got an Egyptian message then an English one saying the number was out of use. They called again today and I answered, she knew my name and my address, I told her I wouldn't confirm it and asked her what she wanted and who she worked for. She didn't answer but told me I had to answer three questions or she wouldn't leave me alone. This repeated itself twice more, me asking her who she was and her asking the first question "do I read a newspaper". She was rude and threatened to keep calling me if I didn't answer, even though I repeatedly asked her to stop calling me and to take me off the call list. I reported it to my network and I have blocked the number from my handset
