Just got one. Same as others, IRS is going to sue me. Made me sweat for about 20 seconds, until my search was complete, that is.

We eceived these calls over a year ago (June 2014). They stopped but now have started again (Sept 2015). They say they are "IRS" ( not "THE IRS") and then state that the "Internal Revenue SERVICES" (not 'THE Internal Revenue SERVICE') is going to sue. Right. THE IRS wouldn't waste their time calling they would just attach assets. For someone who receives $ from THE IRS at tax time every year, my return would have been adjusted by whatever I owed. This has NOT happened. THIS IS A SCAM!

Never say who they are. Want you to call for a bogus IRS lawsuit. Don't do it. You would know if the IRS was after you way before any lawsuit was started. Besides does the IRS need to sue?

Also from IRS. Sounds bogus. No name mentioned, no other information other than a call back number. Since I haven't received anything in the MAIL from IRS I'm assuming it's bogus.

Said it was the IRS???
