Got a call that I won a grant of 7 grand and knew that it was a scam told me to call 2025808541

I received the same call today. Needless to say I googled United Federal Grants and found my answer.

This is definitely a scam. Its dB sounded tomethat they werein a call center and since the number popped up with 0's instead of an actual number it seems like they used several out of cou try switches to get to an American line beware any one claiming to be the government will never ask for personal info or money whendealing with grants especially if they are giving you the money

Did any one go into ? I want to know if this is true. I can sure use that "Grant" for school. If it's true but I kinda figured it was scam when they said to go to a store and deposit 300$ and I was like wait what , why?

Did you pursue this any further? I got the same call.

I also received a call from 202-580-8541. The number came up 000000 on my caller ID though. The lady with a thick, possibly Asian accent claimed that I was chosen to receive a Federal grant of $7000. She claimed to be the Dept. of Treasury but gave me the address of Health and Human Services in Wash., DC. She did not have my correct zip code. The whole this is very dubious. I am going to continue to investigate.

I was called by an unknown number in which they said it was from the government looking for me to say that I had won a 7,000 dollar grant from the government then they told me to call the call back number, which is; (202)580-8541 to give my information so that they can deposit the money. I thought that was it but in the end they said to go to a western union at rite aid or 7/11 etc and deposit $310 cash so that they can do a secure deposit. I told them that I'd give them them a call tomorrow while I sort this out and see if what they are telling me is true. Please help?
