Got a call claiming to be from the IRS hot line. Matter of urgency regarding a legal notice filed against your name by the IRS. Wants me to call them back.

Heavy Indian accent, I could make out "IRS" but not much else, including the phone number I was being instructed to call back. Dialing the incoming number, you hear a message about reaching the IRS but no one is available, also clearly made by an Indian speaker. Scam, but had my legal name so worrisome.

Got a call from this # at 12:08pm and again at 12:09pm. Lots of noise in the background; caller couldn't pronounce my name, and I couldn't understand a word she said after listening to voicemail three times. Caller ID displayed District of Columbia. Yet another frustrating scam.
