I received a call from this number "Windows Technical Support" similar to previous messages. I said I did not believe them and hung up. When they called me back to ask why I had hung up the number was 02037695528.

constant calling up to 8 times in one day! do not need this at the moment, government should do something about all this scamming. why are they doing nothing about this?

I've just had a call from Sandra I get these calls a few times. I let her try to get me to turn the computer on then told her to get a proper job and stop scamming. She phoned me back saying if she's a scammer how does she have my computer id. After telling her I don't own a computer she hang up lol.

one call this morning which hubby answered. Wanted him to sign into his computer and then go onto a website which asked permission to allow access to his computer. Of course he didn't allow anything and hung up. They have called twice today insisting they are from Microsoft Technical Support and that there is a problem with the computer. Told them if they are Microsoft then to send an email with the details to my registered Microsoft account. Caller stammered over that one but then still kept insisting. Finally told him that I had googled his number and there are warnings posted all over the internet about him and also on the Microsoft security site. Finally I hung up with him still insisting he was genuine.

Just had a phone call from "Sabrina" (good old Asian name!) who purported to be from Microsoft and wanted to talk to me regarding a problem with my computer. Wish I could have thought of a witty answer like some of the other contributors!

I usually tell them they've got through to an unclassified government department and we are tracing their details. I ask for their name and other details for the court details.

This morning I coouldn't be bothered so let them listen to radio 3 for an hour before hanging up.

I got several calls starting at 8:00 AM. Male and female indian accents. Claimed to be Microsoft and want to speak to owner of pc about messages on screen. Told them I use Linux and phone went dead.
